CURRENT OPERATIONS AND WORKSHOP FACILITIES

Masai Computer Services Ltd is experienced in the maintenance of computers, photocopiers, Airconditioners and other peripheral equipment.

Masai has been an IBM Business Partner in Ghana since 1987 and has been involved in the installation and maintenance of computers and other peripheral equipment over the past nineteen (20) years.

Some computer equipment that we have installed and maintain are on the attached list.

Workshop facilities
Masai has a well-equipped workshop set up to render optimal service to its customers.
The primary objective of setting up the workshop is to ensure a minimum turn around time for equipment brought in for repairs.

Workshop tools for repair and maintenance work include various meters, oscilloscopes, and electronic engineering hand tools.

In addition, the workshop ensures that equipment downtime in the field is also reduced to a minimum.

The main workshop facility with seven (7) IBM trained and certified engineers is located at House No.  C398/2 Sobukwe Road, Adabraka, Accra.

Remote location
One (1) engineer is also stationed at AngloGold Ashanti Ltd, Obuasi who is equipped with all the necessary tools for repairs and maintenance and has responsibility for all computers and peripheral equipment in the Ashanti Region and the northern half of the country.

The workshop possesses communication facilities for contacting engineers in the field in order to attend to attend to urgent customer calls.

Spare parts holdings to support after-sales service
In order to ensure the delivery of quality after-sales service to its numerous customers, Masai maintains adequate spares in its inventory.  On average, we maintain inventory of over Sixty Thousand Ghana Cedis (¢60,000.00) worth of spares.  In cases where parts are not readily available locally, emergency orders are placed through our foreign office in the United Kingdom for delivery within 2-3 days.

IBM also maintains a desk for emergency orders which are handled promptly.
